What you really need is to know what the goal of your social media actually is. What is it that your organisation needs in order to increase impact and how can you create smart goals that support this?

Now that you have determined who your ideal audience is, it's time to know where you are going to find them.

Choosing the right social media channel can be scary. There are a lot of factors to take into consideration including the depth of knowledge needed, the time and resources to manage the channel, as well as what the opportunities on each channel are.
